I do have a great idea for an iPad app: the iGuitar. Six virtual strings and a virtual fretboard. It'll be sure to replace those big, bulky, not-so-portable actual guitars.

You'll have to learn how to play on a 6" virtual neck, of course, and do so without any tactile feedback, but by now you should already be accustomed to typing with the edge of your finger with your hand curled up like an arthritis sufferer. If this sounds like it might be awkward to play, have no fear: it features one-finger riffs and complete song loops so you can sound exactly like your favorite guitar heroes even if you have zero talent.

Are you sure you're not talking about the You Rock Guitar that comes with a free copy of UJAM?

iGuitar should have a built in custom shop. That way I can buy-n-stall the convo files of all the different brands of strings so I can have always have just the right brand and model of string set for any occasion.

Unfortunately I don't have any of those Fabfilter plugs yet. I can understand the redundancy if you already have a good analyzer. Has anyone downloaded/tried this yet? If so what was your take on it?

I plan to give it a whirl tonight. I think you can try a demo free.
