Old Skool Xerography!!!
I used to do both hand cut emulsion and photo emulsion.
We got so accustomed to photo emulsion that we could expose the film outside in the South Florida daylight using our wrist watch and some sheets of glass for contact pressure. (We had a regular vacuum light table as well)
That was before digital image editing was available to us and stuff making the color separation sheets was the hard part. Orthographic film and filters and stuff.
I always thought cleaning the ink out of the screen just kind of sucked and we always wished for jobs big enough to make throwing the screen away economical.
You the man! Watch out for the Acetone. :-)
