I just picked this one up yesterday. I was tired of the illegible  Breverb GUI so I gave this one a go since most of you love it. I still have an old Boss RRV 10 reverb half rack thingy and it was the best reverb I ever used for my guitar rig. This Valhalla Room is the closest thing yet. What a great reverb!!! The gui is pretty good. I can manage it well. Hopefully I'll find out it has skins for an even easier gui.

I've been thinking about getting CSR from IK. How do you guys setup Breverb for vocals? I can't find anything I like too much. I'm trying Hall medium hall at -14...its ok. I have Line 6 elements, but I haven't messed with the reverb much. Let me know how you like Valhalla as you get more into it.

I am very interested in what you think of Valhalla.  I only have the reverbs that have come with Sonar.  I have been using Breverb since receiving it, but it always sounds a little harsh to me, for a lack of a better description. Basically, as Clint mentions, on vocals especially, I am just not satisfied with Breverb, unless I turn the wet down until reverb is barely noticeable.

Every forum that I frequent, Valhalla always gets rave reviews.

I like the contextual hot tip help and the "mix" lock/unlock feature seems great.

The Valhalla plugins have demo versions. Check them out http://www.valhalladsp.com/

As far as I'm concerned, Valhalla Room is one of the best reverbs out there - if I could only own one, that would be the one. For $50, it's the bargain of the century. There is a demo, btw.

A good impulse-based one like Logic's Space Designer (or McDSP Revalver if I'm working in Pro Tools), Valhalla, Lexicon and IK's CSR on certain things - that's all I need.

I use Valhalla all the time... incredible bargain!!  Sonic clarity and quality is so nice.   I've never met anyone who didn't like it.

I've had a chance to use Valhalla on a vocal track. It is extremely smooth. There is a spot where I increase the send level for a really wet effect and I have to say it beats Breverb hands down. The tails are so smooth and it sounds really lush.

I was able to use Breverb but the gui is hard to see and you had to be careful with the amount of reverb. It never sounded right with to much.

To me, it is the best sounding reverb I own. The depth and sense of space/atmosphere is really what I like most about it. I still use other verbs but my bread and butter one is Valhalla Room.

Does Valhalla room have a plate or hall settings also?
