That would be the "noise-cancelling" model, right? I find that mixing in random sounds 180 degrees out of phase really makes the frequency response organic, warm and musical. And they're pretty expensive, too, which makes them even more appropriate for mastering.


Then again, Beats by Dr Dre come in red.

Don't forget to attach bass traps on the back of your head, especially if your head is of cubical kind of form. To reduce early reflections a foam sticker on your forehead might be needed as well.
