I purchased SPAT - the software by IRCAM that allows one to mix different orchestral libraries together in the same project and get a realistic spacial placement with or without the built-in reverb.  After I tried it, I found that SONAR kept crashing and I could not use it like it is supposed to be used.  You ar supposed to be able to route up to 8 tracks to a single bus with SPAT, and then place each one of the tracks exactly where you want it.  Well, this would not work for me, then I found out that Sonar does not allow for this kind of multi-channeling.  OK - so I decided I would use it in two or three of the tracks that I have with real players performing.  Once I put in the third instance SONAR crashed.

Of course, I went the whole 9 yards and got the entire tools package.  So I thought, OKJ - I will use the verb session, which is a good reverb package.  Well, it worked, for a week.  Now when I insert it,  no sound comes out!  It registers input, but no output.  So, I try the big-brother VERB.  works ok, byut the third instance and CRASH.

OK - my system

6 SSD hard drives - one for the system drive, 4 for samples, and one for projects.
1200 Watt Power Supply

mainly: Hollywood strings, hollywood brass, EWQL orchestra, Berlin WWinds.

The only Flux plugin I use is the vocal manipulation one...and it's a pretty scary thing.  Has always been a bit sketchy but generally works fine. But, like you've found out the hard way SPAT is a very complex piece of kit. Hope you get it worked out...try discussing with both Cake and Flux.
