yorolpal So far it's made a positive difference on every kind of bass I've tried it on. This includes uprights, slapped, plucked, picked, fingered and various synth basses. All my basses are "sampled"...I use Trilian and several other programs and libraries. It's improved every track I've put it on. And the range and sensitivity controls are easy to use. Remember, it's NOT a compressor tho so don't expect it to be. Use one along side it. I also use a low cut filter before it in the chain. HTH.

I want to even out the difference between notes in different registers.
