Remember a little while back Waves brand Plugins were accepting applications for "Waves Street Ambassadors"? These people would go around the forums spreading the good word about Waves Brand VSTs apparently.

You shouldn't be concerning yourself with this at all.

They are probably looking for people that can communicate well via the written word.

As Fotherington-Tomas said to Molewsorth : I forgive you for those uncouth words.

I'm not interested in being a Waves shill but was wondering if they walk amongst us.

Well...we're I to be a "sock puppet " for any company I can guarantee that I'd be the limpest sock in the drawer. I believe I might've scored a "triple" entendre there!!!
Well done.
Speaking of Waves...I've got a "platinum bundle" in my pants...

IK Obi
Just stepping in since I was called out in the first post. I have always preferred to let people know I work for IK by placing it in my handle. I have come across many people working for others subliminally and always thought it weird and shady. You'd be surprised, it happens far more than you think online.

Obi- I mentioned you in a positive way. I was hoping Waves would have the courtesy to present themselves as honestly as you IK guys do.

p.s. I upgraded my CSR to TRacks Grand and love it :)

We want names, Obi. We have torches and pitchforks at the ready.

I think he meant "clandestinely".  Don't know how you could physically work for anyone "subliminally". Just being nit-picky;-)

Agreed with most of this. One thing I will say is that you can often get a very good read on a company and or their products from the negative reviews. What are the gripes, how were they handled. Of course I think back to my own horrible experience with REFX Nexus...

I'm pretty nit-picky about words, too, but I think "subliminally" might actually work in this context. If I make a statement that's meant to fly under the radar of consciousness and subtly plant an idea without actually stating it, that could be called subliminal, I think.

For example... suppose I was to write "I HATE WAVES" in bold red Freddie-font. Well, I've never done that and never will. ;)
