I've decided I should probably go ahead and get this thing. I'm doing some vocals now and a good LA2A on the pro channel would sure be nice. The prochannel buss comp is my favorite of all the Cakewalk comps. Cakewalk has been pretty quite...maybe there will be a sale during Summer namm!

I caved. I bought CA-2A today. This of course means it's about to go on sale, so if you need it. Be on watch!

I grabbed it on the first sale.  In a discussion once about what we would like to see Cake put out for PC plugs, I stated that if they produced a LA2A plug, I would be one of the first to jump on it.  Then it suddenly came out.  I figured I better put up or shut up, at that point.

Fortunately, it is debatably one of the best that Cake has ever done.

Now I better be careful about making the same statement on a Pultec.

Isn't it funny how something you managed to live without for years and years suddenly becomes a GOTTAHAVEITNOW item if you think about it for too long?

Hahaha! Yeah it's a sickness and I have it. I'm actually recording some vocal tracks for a person right now and thought the 2A would work nice for her. I also want a better verb than breverb so that's the next thing. I'm demo-ing all the Valhalla stuff and CSR tonight. I sold my JTV-Variax so I'm inspired to spend, spend, spend!
