I'm with ya Obi...it just seems to me (and many other plugins are guilty of this) that it would be all too easy to just have a button to "denoise" the plug if desired.  Afterall, the thing that all of us hated back in the bad old days was that we couldn't get the hum out of our gear.  I'll ask again for you guys to take a hint from Waves (for instance) and add a button to turn off the hum.  It may be historically accurate...but it's still (mostly) not needed or wanted.

I'm with you Ol'Pal. If there was a choice back then of the exact same gear but one had noise and the other didn't, the noisy ones would still be on the shelves.

It looks like they have a hidden sale if you want all three of the new ones. If you buy $200 of credits, you'll have enough credits for all three.

Do you have to BUY $200 worth of credits or is already having $200+ worth of credits enough? Where did you see this?

If you buy $200 of credits, you get enough credits to get all three. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what I read in the credits pricing page in custom shop.

well, i don't know ...

i still like the t-racks a lot and bought the cs grand upgrade, which i also like and use a lot ... but i'm so tired of that custom shop crap; just recently i had to rebuild a daw and guess what: out of all installation packages the only one not working was the bloody ik custom shop i.e. i could authorize and lock a license to the new machine, but not get the VST installed at all - by coincidence it did work a few days later; no clue why then and not earlier?

... and to market those new tools just via the custom shop is another stupid idea. if it wouldn't be for this forum i hadn't even found out about those new modules; without lauching that custom shop, you can't even find a price quote on the web ... and (my current estimate of) close to 200 EUR for these modules is way too steep in relation to what i paid for the rest of the suite

I'm pretty new to all of this stuff, but I like the Custom shop. It's quick to try out stuff without having to guess or download trials. I have learned my lesson with daw software though and I'll wait for the Christmas sales. I hope to upgrade to grand, upgrade melodyne and maybe we will have some new PC modules by then. I would like to have that pc2a, but I'm not going to spend $99 for the ca2a compressor. There are to many free ones out there that.....I'm getting off topic.

@freeflybertle Compare the prices of competitors versions of these studio classics and you won't be complaining about price. You can buy all 3 of ours for far less than some companies charge for 1 of these. \ Plus, we like to think ours sound far better too. (At least to our ears, we'll let you guys decide for yourselves...)

Again I'll ask, ol pal...would you mention to your overlords that some (most) of us would like a switch to turn off the hum in the delay??

I do, but its best if you post it on the IK forums for the devs to see themselves. Otherwise it gets lost in the list of other requests too in my requests emails. Plus you can do a better job of explaining why than I could.

You mean you actually prefer it?  Aren't you a simple user just like me? What makes me so special?
