Ok, sorry for that, i didnt have too much time to follow the news here, really desperate for the latest news. Hope that the company find his way, i use sonar since 96. Cant live without it....

No problem! While the forums have generally been buzzing with this stuff since day 1, not everybody is here frequently and information flow beyond that was pretty weak, so many people have not been in the loop until recently... it's all very strange. 

No Problems Mate.
I imagine there will be many , many others who will follow you over the coming months ,suddenly discovering their stalwart DAW program , which  'hummed sweetly'  for oh-so many years...without much complaint or requiring one to get assistance from a support forum,........... has been dealt an extremely unfair blow.
This painful epiphany no doubt is causing significant disruption to many of 'US' including and Especially the magnificent 'Cakewalk Development Team.'
It will take time to sort this out for most of us.

I guess I'm old.  I just don't like any of the new design ideas or colors that Gibson has tried to introduce over the last 5 years.  I know they are trying to increase sales and find something new to jump start sales, but I wish they would just go back to building the quality guitars that people actually want.  

OK, maybe its just me, but they look like the badge emblem from Star Trek

So Gibson is suing Toy company for using a guitar likeness, perhaps what goes around comes around. Paramount anybody??
