We are proud to introduce our new PSP SpringBox—an emulation of a hardware spring reverberator.

PSP SpringVerb recreates several features typical of spring reverbs, such as its convincing “boing” on transients and a repeatable resonating musical character with an adjustable presence. A selection of configurations from two to six springs total is provided, as well as the ability to configure the stereo spread and pan/balance to suit a variety of mix set ups—from typical guitar reverbs to creative uses as a send reverb in a mix. Thanks to PSP SpringBox’s two channel A and B settings setup and range of presets, operation is fast and easy. Whenever you want to add sustain to your guitar or add the sound of a mechanical reverberation unit to your mix the PSP SpringBox can do the job right.

To see the PSP SpringVerb in action you can watch the short YouTube movie or you can try the PSP SpringBox on your own material using fully featured 14 days demo version available on our download page.

Introductory offer! Until 30th April 2013 you can buy PSP SpringBox at the special introductory price of $49* Starting from 1st May 2013 the regular price of $69* will be applied.  (* all prices exclude taxes)

I just watched the video - sounds very nice and I was tempted - then  I thought about it for a minute - do I really NEED another reverb no matter how nice - would anyone REALLY notice if I used this as opposed to some other reverb - very doubtful so I passed for the time being -  think I have Plug in Fatigue!! The Plug in manufacturers need to think what they need to produce next to tempt us users - personally I feel I have enough eq / compressor / reverb type plug ins and recreations of vintage stuff has been done to death.
Perhaps sound processors - unique effects sort of thing like some recent stuff from Xils lab and FX Expansion????.

I don't think they're trying to tempt anyone, they just developed & released another quality plugin.
I don't need it myself but it might be better suited for those that prefer that type of verb. (Softube has a good one too)
Any plugin regardless of type is only valuable if the one who purchases the license finds it useful for their style of music or as part of their production toolbox.

I want it, and I need it! I have an old MicMix spring reverb in the rack that I still use... if this plugin sounds that good I'll be buying it tonight (already downloaded the demo!)

Very cool, I've been wishing for a really good spring reverb plugin for a while!

Did you try either the Softube Spring Reverb or the Overloud SpringAge in the Cake store for $49?

Just curious...

I tried both, the Softube, is very flexible, but I never managed to get it to sound like my Spring Reverb. The Overloud was pretty cool, closer to what I was after, but still not quite "it". I am going to download the latest demo from them and compare the PSP to the Overloud to see what's what.

And thanks for the pointer - I missed that CW had it on sale in their store!

No prob Bill,

Please post back on your impressions...I'd be curious to
hear your impressions.

I demo'd PSP EasyVerb, and quite liked it....but still bought Breeze, as I
found it better (and got it for a great price).

I do quite like the PSP Plugs, they are reasonably priced and of good quality.
As are Softube and Overloud as well.

+1.

I picked up the SpringAge one from Overloud when I bought the whole bundle of 5 pieces.

I too have more than enough plugs.

Maybe I should actually get to recording something so that I can use them now, huh???

First night's impressions...

I only had time to install and compare the Overloud SpringAge and the PSP, I'll install the Softube later this week.

So I really like the PSP SpringBox. I like all their delays and effects, so I guess I'm not terribly surprised. Well actually I am, I had the original PSP Spring Reverb, which was distributed through CM magazine, and then EasyVerb, which I picked up mostly for the spring reverb, but neither of these ever replaced my MicMix. SpringBox just might.

But in listening to SpringAge again I find that I like it more than I remember. I think that SpringBox sounds more like my spring reverb, but I really like some of the sounds I was able to create with SpringAge.

This is really awful! I don't want to buy two new plug-ins, but I might do it anyway. (Is this a reason to NOT demo the Softtube?)

SpringAge and SpringBox could not sound more different, but dang, they do both sound cool. If the bank account says I have to pick one it won't be easy.
