Hello all,

Brought this out a week ago...

It's a pad monster as well as a pokey synth in its own right!!

Layer sounds together from 64 multi-sampled waveforms and modify them quickly and easily with the unique TONE controls that offer a variation on Z-PLANE filtering. The SIZE controls give quick and easy access to the envelopes.

But you can go deeper by hitting the EDIT buttons where you have access to all the parameters and the sounds can be rounded off with the comprehensive effects section.

This instrument deserves a thread of its own, Stephen.

Folks, if ya likes yer pads - and who doesn't - this is a bucketload of good, cheap fun. Can't afford Omnisphere? Here's the poor man's version. And it has one of the coolest-looking custom Kontakt UIs ever.

For whatever it's worth ... I've written a reasonably in depth review of Pulstar that will be in the next issue of WSM.  That issue should be on-line in about a week (it's free for anyone not familiar with the magazine), in plenty of time to read before the Pulstar intro price goes away.  Spoiler alert: I have very, very nice things to say about this instrument.

I'll post a link here when available.

Yes - this one is the the dog's b*******.

Can you spend less than 5 minuites auditioning each of the presets? Every one just wants to be played.

And when you discover the little randomise button you are going to be there all day.

Yes, well maybe the randomise / serendipity button should be labelled "Time/Space Continuum Vortex' because it will suck you in and you spend what seems to be a few minutes fiddling around only to emerge from your gentleman's recording shed to discover than over four hours have elapsed!
Glad you like it, Glyn!

Cheers,

Stephen

Hmmm ... when I did a Copy Shortcut of the link I originally included, this is what was copied:

Using the URL up to "41" but none of the following stuff seems to work.  Here, I'll try again:

This one works for me.
