I actually got a trademark on that phrase :-) It's a good one!

And soundsonline is good stuff? Really? If you don't have it? Check them out... They have good shiz? And it's not priced out of bounds...

What I like about East West is that they've got great libraries at every budget point - and all upgradeable when your RAM / Disc Space / Discretionary Income increase in size.  You will be investing not only money, but time in the learning curve.  So once you know how East West software works it is easy to add the next library.

And - They are already on the next generation - the "hollywood series" which sounds fabulous.  But their previous library Symphony Orchestra is also very "pro" and excellent.  Since Symphony Orchestra is no longer their flagship product, they lowered the price of it.  So instead of spending a couple grand on their best Hollywood libraries, you can get Symphony Orchestra at a fraction of the cost.

The other thing about EW is they have a lot of libraries and they keep on churning them out.  So they seem like they will be around for the long term.

Kirk Hunter Studios 50% sale ends this Wednesday.

For $124.50 USD you can pick up Pop/Rock Strings with the Easy String Arranger addon thrown in for free -- a $50 USD value (Easy String Arranger is a great addon that makes arranging strings dead simple for those who don't have a formal background in string arrangements and can also be a great tool for experienced arrangers to use as a tool to get ideas down when inspiration strikes; I came up with the product idea; Kirk created it). Thursday, May 1st, these will go back up to full price, which is about $300 USD. Here's the link: http://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/purchase.html
