Anyone here use EAReverb. (EaReckon)

Tried the free download and it sounds outstanding to my ears.

couldn't find any reviews or anyplace that even sells it except EaReckon for $180.

I highly recommend downloading the Demo of Redline Reverb...
(it's a 60 day demo!!!) $149

If you're in the market for a great reverb in that price range...

https://www.112db.com/redline/reverb/

closest thing to Hardware I've heard...and very low CPU hit...

You can get good sound with a LOT of reverbs...if you're willing to do the tweaking...
but Redline and LXP, there is little to no tweaking of the presets to get a great sound...and tweaking them they only get better...they are both clean, clear, lush, and warm...
But that's just my 2 cents worth...

I demoed both & found that I actually preferred EaReverb over Redline.
I was kind of surprised - I thought that it would be the other way around.

By my math, [or maybe just where I live], - @ 129.00 Euros, it works out to $165.00ish.

I haven't bought either one yet, but I've signed up for EAReckon's news letter in hopes of a price break.

I thought both sounded excellent, but my decision for one over the other was the interface.
I found Redline's graphics a bit small and harder to read than EaReverbs, which is larger, and cleaner looking.

I also like the graph down in the lower right corner.

But they've just released a new product, so I'm guessing they'll be poundin' that one for a while.

But my all time favorite reverb though, is the one that came free with my tc electronic SK 48 Audio/MIDI interface.

It's called Fabrik R and it's absoultely drop dead georgeous!

I'm talkin' 'Peaches & Cream' beautiful!

I hadn't used my SK 48 for about 4 years now, and just got it out & set it all up again recently.
Just today, I found myself drooling over it yet again - even amongst these & other relatively new reverb comers.

Just simply the best reverb I've ever heard - hardware or soft.

So, unless EaReverb drops quite a bit, which I doubt it will, I may save my spondulicks and consider Zebra2 instead @ $149 with discount.

I've got quite a good selection of reverbs now anyways - Breverb [Full], IK CSR, ValhallaRoom, tc M30, 3 from SKnote, PSP EasyVerb & Piano Verb - and of course the 'ultra georgeous one' mentioned above - my old 'new top cat'!

EaReverb went for £49 in May last year. At its launch I think it went for €49. I think that was in May the previous year. I'd buy it secondhand or wait for another sale. Maybe there'll be one in May or maybe not. Either way there's a lot of Mays being mentioned in this post.

I got it for the discounted price last year and think it is great.
But since I got Aether all other reverbs have been negleted.

Thanks, dude.

Nothing I like better than hearing of a great sale price a year after the fact     :)

I was comparing EarVerb against the new VariVerb II by Magix tonight.  I also compared R-Verb by Waves, TrueVerb (Waves) as well as the UAD Verb (can't remember the one that comes with the card).  I thought that EarVerb sounded better to my ears to all of those I've mentioned.

I was surprised that no one really talked about it when it was released.  It's been in regular development since it was released and there are a lot of new features included now.

I suggest that everyone download the demo and check out what it can do.

If we're talking about EAReckons' EAReveb, it is cheaper here:
http://www.timespace.com/product/EAR-120/4/10000040/eareckon_eareverb_%28serial_download%29.html

89.17 EUR works out to $116.39 USD. That's definitely better than 129.00 EUR - $165.00.
