I've been looking to upgrade and have found several (Pioneer and Alpine) that have USB and bluetooth. They run Pandora and Sirrius/XM natively but after reading some online stuff, it seems that Spotify has, well.. spotty streaming using an iPhone 5.
I am wondering if anyone knows of a car stereo that works with an iPhone 5 and Spotify. I am not interested in Pandora. I'm going to check the forums at Audio-Karma, I had forgotten them until writing this. Maybe you have another suggestion or know of a unit that works and does not cost over 600 bucks. I'd like to stay 200 or under... I guess 250 max. I am not interested in a screen for video or GPS.I can pull over and look at the phone screen for that. Just good audio.

Thanks..

I've got Bluetooth in my new Subie Impreza sport hatch.  It streams Pandora from my IPhone (3g ancient tech) just fine.  Pandora itself is a little sketchy at times tho.  It also has kept me from giving up my smart phone.  The first time someone called me and I could simply hit a button on the wheel to answer and just "talk to the car" I was hooked.  Me likey the Bluetooth.

The Subie also has a USB port in the console which I keep a thumb drive full of my favorite albums in as well.  Cars are getting quite enjoyable lately.

My new car, as of about 3 months ago, has, it seems, connections for everything. I've been taking advantage of SSD Chip slot with about 5 Gigs of albums I have purchased over the years. It is set on random and I totally love it.

I could, and probably will at some point, put the SSD Chip in my phone and Bluetooth that to the car's stereo. That way the music can go with me wherever I take my phone.
