Also a decent pedal steel guitar would be nice.

Linear Phase
My thoughts about what I need, what I like, and what I can't live without change on a day to day basis.  However, there is 1 vst effect that I have used, consistently, on every production I have done since 2007..   When I purchased my license to said vst.

I use this effect when I mix, and when I master.  Its not unusual for me to have 2 - 4 in a mix, and always 1 right before the dither effect, during my homebrew master process.

I've tried a lot of the $100, and $200 vst limiters too.  I dunno what to say..  Event Horizon is the absolute best one ever.

1.  It sounds great.

2.  Its ultra low latency for a brickwall

3.  Its quick, simple, and fast to use.

4...  at this point, I've used it so much, that I know its sweet spots.
