You just saved me $89!!!
Hey, glad to help ... while I don't think the clone exactly duplicates the real Maag, in a mix I kinda doubt that the average listener would notice the difference.
Between good freebies like this, the Sonimus and OverTone EQs, and the ProChannel / Sonitus stuff, there's not much reason to shell out the big bucks for EQ plugins. But that new DMG does look pretty cool ... :-)
Cheers,
Eddie
No, not "exactly", but then again, the Maag EQ is not an "Exact" clone of the Hardware...
The Redline EQ is pretty kewl as well...it does 5 consoles...at $149...
and I'm definitely getting the Redline Reverb...I've done side by sides
with Lexicon LXP, Breverb, Breeze, CSR, IR-L, PS, and a bunch of others...
and Redline sounds the most like High Dollar Hardware (IMHO)...LXP is a VERY Close second...
it's warm and lush with great tails and lot's of usable presets "right out of the gate"
DMG's EQuilibrium is also a kewl looking EQ...I must admit...
Too many toys...LOL
