I've just listened to Blood of the Nations - I bought both after my quick preview. These two albums are definitely going on my gym playlist.

The one thing that slightly bothers me - as with every album in recent years - is the length. I miss the good old days of to-the-point/45 minutes albums which left you wanting more. But the albums are great. And I love the way the sound.

What's the matter, can't fit two albums on your 90 minutes cassettes anymore?

Looks like YouBoob has the full new album available - listening now.  Sounds good so far!

Isn't it interesting that if you insert the word "well" before each word in "hung, drawn and quartered" it doesn't sound like a bad thing?

They are unhappy.
They really wanted to do Manilow covers.

LOL I think that that's how my brain works - 45 minutes has got to be enough.

I've always preferred to listen to whole albums. I'm guessing that for some people, 70 minutes + worth of songs is actually nice, but for me it means that I don't get half as familiar w/ the album because sitting there to listen to over an hour of music isn't something I do everyday.

Give me 30 minuters, like Sabbath's Master of Reality and I'll listen to it every chance I get.

Hearing 5 different mixes of the same song added to the CD as filler gets really old too...

Absolutely. I was trying to not be as opinionated as I tend to be - even if I know I'm right and the problem isn't me. ;)

" They all had diaheria and they were desperately trying to hold it back ... Just five more seconds until the picture was taken. " LOL.

Oh that explains it then..that and the Manilow complex. Craig I personally have nothing against Moobies. I usually watch rated R or PG-13 :)

I guess a big tent question might extrapolate a few different kinds of reasons. I liked the comment," They look unhappy because they are unhappy"

To show what a real...as Yorolpal would say...dim bulb I am . I didn't know a band called "Accept" existed. Did you need to accept them or else?

I meant to answer to this thread before and forgot! For some reason, metal bands (at least my understansing of them) wanted to have that tough look. Metal was mean so you had to look mean. I never thought of it that way. I've always smiled in all the bands I've been in other than when I was told "dude, you gotta look mean!" I used to fight that all the time because let's be honest...

There's no reason for me to look/act mean unless I'm mad. I'm not mad, I feel blessed to be able to wake up in the morning and have a little musicality in my life as well as a wide array of instruments to play. The fact that I can walk, move my hands, see, hear and speak, makes me even more happy. Why on earth would I need to show someone I'm mad when in fact, I'm bursting with happiness?

That said, some of the guys doing those goofy poses are doing them purposely. When you get a name for yourself, people sort of accept you and take what you give them. Then again, if all the metal bands thought like me....they would kinda look rediculous if they were all smiling like I usually do. LOL! They may be labeled something else...and that wouldn't be cool if it weren't true.

I'm happy....just about 98% of the time I am. I have no problems showing.sharing my happiness. If it reflects something in pictures to where people think differently about me, so be it. Come see a show. :)

Speaking of that...Starise, I'm in Bensalem Saturday night at Parx Casino doing the Van Halen show. Not sure how close that is to you, but it's a great place to see the band. Great stage, great sound...really nice surrounding. Short notice I know...but figured I'd pass it on. :)
