Is there a way to adjust the background contrast in the notes pane?
I'd like to make the gray a bit darker.

Preferences > Customization > Colors
set the Color Category to the PRV and change the Window Background

To be more clear - when using diatonic note names, I want the
lines for the black keys to be a darker shade of gray. When I
change the window background, the entire note pane becomes
darker.
