Down loaded the redline line reverb but I wasn't getting any reverb from the plug in. Now the GUI disappeared.  Any who can tell me what folders I need to put this in?   My default plug in folder is c;/program files/cakewalk/vst plugins, the first folder it went into was program files/vst plugins.
Any help would be great.

I'm also using Windows 7 - 64 Bit.

2 separate folders got installed on my rig.

One folder gets installed in it's own folder named '112db' in C:\Program Files\112db\Redline Reverb\Redline Reverb Resources.

The other 'Redline Reverb.dll' is in C:\ProgramFiles\Vstplugins\112db\Redline Reverb.dll

If not done already, you will need to 'point' Sonar to this 2nd folder & re-scan your VSTs afterwards.

Shows up here no problem, but I just have the demo for now.

in any 64 bit system the first thing I do when installing a fresh install of sonar is create a 32 bit vst folder.
I put this in C/programfiles(86)/cakewalk/vstplugins (create the vstplugins folder)
redline may be 32 bit ? if so drop it in the newly created folder but more important, make sure plug in manager is seeing it , so add that path to the plug in manager.
Re-scan and you should be good to go.

Redline is 64 bit, but needs two seperate folders. I didn't istall the 32 bit because I don't need it. I'll try that when I get home tonight.

That shouldn't be necessary to install the 32 bit one. There is nothing in my system in the 32 bit folders with Redline in it. I would uninstall, and re-install again first. But after uninstalling, go Start>Search & type in Redline and locate & remove all folders & files first.

Well I downloaded it again but it wouldn't work . I read on Gearslutz that you need to move the .dll file to the redline reverb file. Everything worked, great! Opened another project to test it and now the GUI is gone again. I'm pulling my hair out over here. If someone can tell me exactly what folders they download this plugin in that would be a big help.

  Thanks,

Well here's where I stand. Reverb dowloaded and shows up in Sonar and works. No GUI. I'm at a loss.

I'm gonna decide tomorrow if I'm gonna buy it, in which case I'll be doing the exact same thing on the same OS system as you.

If you don't get it sorted out, maybe I'll be able to compare notes, but you might have to wait a day or 2.

I  installed it about a week ago....it worked perfectly in Win 8 in
both X2 and Cubase...loved it...but didn't buy it and uninstalled

When I saw this thread I reinstalled it, since my demo license is still good...
worked perfectly again...
Don't know why you wouldn't get the GUI unless you haven't installed the Demo License..
in which case it would only be blurred, not gone...

Maybe it's your Graphics drivers that it has an issue with..don't know...
but it worked fine for me..

no gui sounds like something in the program files, like the visual fils or better word :Resources.
check and see if there is a resources file and what is in it.
that's where I would start.
id it possible it was installed to app data or program data VS progam files ?

sorry about before, I thought you were using a 32 bit plug ing that's why I mentioned what I did.
