Hint: section 121, row 34, seats 25 and 26... any given Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday... we have them all this year. Our seats are (from the field, facing the tunnel) the section just left of and including part of the tunnel the Falcons come out of. I used to have section 122, just to the right but cancelled them when I got completely fed up with Vick. I hope we have a good season, it certainly is a LOT tougher than last year's. Out of 10 home games (2 are preseason) five of them are night games.. I prefer 1:00 or 4:00 but I will go, I just hope they don't get into some ties and extra downs at midnight. Then again, it will be exciting... what I REALLY hope is that we don't stink and get blown out... especially for Gonzalez' sake. He is really awesome and has come back for one more year. I hope he gets a ring this year. He is a class act.

YES... IT IS FUN !!!!

Julien... the thirteenth man.

BTW, my biggest problem is my two jerseys are Jhn Abraham and Keith Brooking. Abraham is with The Cardinals this year and I suppose Brooking is still with The Cowboys, unless he retired. Brooking will always be a homeboy, he played college ball for Ga Tech then with the Falcons for most of his carreer. I guess I will have to buy a Gonzalez jersey and perhaps a Ryan... hmmmm.

Watch for me. I will be the buy with a shaved head, in that section. Wifey and I will be wearing the jerseys... Black 55 and red 56. It should be a thin crowd, first preseason game and it is raining steady in ATL.

Ok, I'll guess.  A John Tesh concert?

(Kidding.  Have as much fun as you can at a pre-season game!)

Thanks Craig, it was FUN but  sure am glad it didn't count... the first quarter was good but the rest of the game... well, I hope our bench is better than that.

There is nothing in the USA quite like an NFL game. From what I've seen on TV some soccer matches have the same level of excitement with an added element of real danger if the crowd decided to riot. The Eagles have a jail under the stadium but at the Falcons all Ive ever seen is friendly ribbing of the other team's fans and really not too much of that unless we are playing the Saints but still we get along. I guess you are a Seahawks fan??

I was born in San Diego so the Chargers are my first favorite (if only they'd would actually live up to their potential some day...).

But, more so now, I'm just a fan of a good game.

The Maillard Reaction
The most electric moment I have ever experienced was on the sidelines during a FSU vs UF rivalry game. Pouring rain. 3" inches of water on the field (attributed to a broken drainage system that was diagnosed after the fact).

For one particular scrimmage the crowd elevated the vibe to something I can't really describe. Hair on the back of everyone's neck.

Hope you have a great season.

best regards,
mike
