This might have been asked before.. what to expect running the IK 32 bit vst in X2 64 bit (bitbridge, no jbridge yet) ? Will it crash X2 ?

IK Total XL Workstation is currently at an offer at Audiodeluxe.

Edit : Audiodeluxe @134.99, better price compared to eSoundz @199.99 (that was Total Studio 3 package)

I don't have the full bundle, but I have run Sampletank and Miroslav CE without issues using Bitbridge. Its all pretty dated but the content is still useful none the less. Miroslav still sound remarkably good, it lacks some of functionality of some of the more modern packages but sounds very good.

I run all of them on Win 8 and they work fine...

I have the Total Studio Bundle, which has all they synths
and all the products....it works fine with bitbridge..

I ran it on X1 windows 7 just fine. I don't use Sonar anymore though but I doubt it wouldn't run on X2 with 8 since it runs on my current windows 8 rig with Live. It didn't give me any bit bridge problems. hell i wish i could take bit bridge to ableton because j bridge sucks

Thanks to all. Great to know it works via bitbridge. Shall be ordering soon.

I use it and frequently have issues with Bitbridge and jBridge.  I don't use it any more for that reason.

I had some serious stability issue when I used more than one instance of SampleTron and SampleMoog (both are only available as 32bit) in Sonar X2a 64 bit.

Crashes at freeze, project save, project open ... really hard to track down; drove me crazy for about a week, but eventually the IK VSTs could identified as trouble makers and jBridge solved it.

I am a very long term IK user - they work OK in X1 / X2 64bit with Jbridge, although they are very long in the tooth and basically surpassed functionality wise by most other similar products available at the moment.
However the only thing I would say about this, is whilst this is "cheap" IK Obi keeps telling us that NEW versions are about to be released anytime soon - but of course he cannot tell us what our upgrade costs (if any) will be - so buying outmoded software such as this now, without any idea of costs going forward, might not be a very sensible idea - on the other hand, it is cheap and perhaps IK might want to win a little credibility back with its long suffering users, so may offer either free or very cost competitive upgrades, which means you might actually be buying a real bargain - fancy a gamble!!!!

Cheers
Nigel

I have them. I don't use them. They work crappy at best in a 64bit enviroment and they're hard to see. (Crappy GUIs) It's been over a year or 2 since we've been "teased" with the release of ST3 and it being 64bit. Eventually I'll buy Kontakt and be done with the IK synths. T-racks CS and Amplitube are great plugs though.

Total Bundle 3 here.  work in Sonar 64bit for me with no problems through bitbridge.

as other have stated I don't use them much, long in the tooth.  Amplitube 3 is nice.

I mostly use Miroslav Philharmonik.

I hate the customeshop with t-racks and amplitube.  I have never purchased additional stuff frorm the customeshops and won't.

I was lucky someone bought this for me as an Xmas present so I didn't actually purchase, though I own it.  If I had spent my money on it I would have been rather upset and disapointed.

If you don't own NI Komplete I would invest in that before buying the IK products.  as I have both it's nice to have some extra products from the Total Bundle if I need them but rarely use them.
