Thanks for the suggestion it looks great. I've fixed a friend's vocal this morning trying to learn it. It's pretty easy to use. I bought it on Ebay for $39.99, got a serial number and registered it at Celemony and then they gave me the latest version. I notice the standalon version (not that I will use it) is 32bit.

I'm in the same boat. Got Melodyne Editor 2 recently, find it easy to use and get fantastic results relatively quickly. Now I understand why this is so "essential", especially in paid work ...

Yet, a crappy performance remains a crappy performance; some things are just beyond fixing. I had to release that again just yesterday

So I keep me eyes open for the release of Melodyne Virtual Vocalist or something with a talent knob and downloadable voice impulse files ...

Editor someday maybe...I would like to be able to split notes. Essentail may be able to do this, but I'm just getting started with it. So far I'm very, very happy with this $39 purchase! On a side note, Essential is now called singletrack, but it still says "essential" on the gui.
