Redline Reverb is on sale at 112 db

for $112 till the end of March...

It's one of the top rated Reverbs out there...

I downloaded the Demo and I have to say it's quite nice...

I've waited & waited for it to go on sale for about a year now.

In the meantime, I went with the Breverb upgrade though Sonar here a few months ago.

How do the 2 compare?

Since I have Breverb now, would it be redundant to get Redline as well?

Hi Larry
I had a chance to use the Redline stuff a few years ago - a friend had a system with some of their products on.
I really liked their stuff - used the reverb and pre amp (I think) - I seem to remember he had something else as well but I can't remember what that was.
Anyway I was just on the point of buying them and something happened at 112db - didn't the owner / developer pass away very suddenly or something like that?
So I never did purchase in the end.
Any idea what the status of 112db is these days?
If the company is stable etc their products would be well worth looking at again.
Cheers
Nigel

I find Breverb to be a bit too "metallic" for my taste...it's a great reverb, but I just find it too "bright" for lack
of a better term

I don't think it would be redundant...I highly recommend downloading the demo...it's fully functional for 60 days..

BB,

To the best of my knowledge they are still ok...they are releasing product updates so development must be on-going.

Jules Vleugels passed away in January 2011 and they are still going. There are three others behind 112dB.

Yes, it seems they are, as I sent an email and received a reply from 'nousch', which I believe is his wife.

Myself, I have a small dilemma:

I'm considering Redline Reverb, but have also stumbled across EAReverb, which seems to have garnered even better reviews across the net, at least so far.

I do have ValhallaRoom, TC M30, Breverb [Full] and CSR [4 pack].

I know I can try them out, but I'd still like to hear some opinions on these 2.

I have been reading different reviews on KVR, music Radar, gearslutz, etc. but being a Sonar user since 2006, I'd really like some thoughts here 'at home'.

Thanks Buds
