I wanted to post this in its own thread because it is Gallien-Krueger Bass Amp vst.  Audiffex has reduced the prices of both versions.  There is another thread that lists all their products with the price reductions (http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2798589 ).  But since I am such a big fan of GK's amps and their licensed vst, I wanted to call this to your attention.  Here are the prices for the GK products:

Gallien-Krueger Amplification Pro: $99 → $79

Gallien-Krueger Amplification Standard: $69 → $39

Yeah, I know this is subjective and just an issue of personal preference, but for me, and I am just speaking for me, I prefer the GK vst to the Mark Bass by Overloud and even the Ampeg by IKM, both of which are great bass vsts.  For me the GK vst has nailed that combination of punchy top end definition combined with a big solid, tight fullness on the bottom.  And for $39 this is worth the money.  I don't, however, see the need for the pro version.  I am elated at this anouncement by Audiffex.  I had been waiting and waiting for this product to go on sale, but now the sale is a permanent price reduction.  Sorry to rave but I really am excited about this deal.

I am not seeing what the difference is between the Pro and standard versions.
