I just purchased the Hendrix collection from the Custom shop for 125 credits. Went to my account to download it but the file is a .dmg file. How do I install this?

The .dmg file is the Mac file...you need the windows file...

Oh Man,

I feel like such a ditz... It happens every time I get in a hurry. I downloaded the windows file and it is now the familiar .zip file.

The other interesting? thing is that this appears to just be an update to Amplitude that includes the Hendrix anniversary collection, not the stand alone Hendrix collection like I have for the Metal, Fender and SVX collections. Also, there was no separate license number in my account or no email from IK.

If you bought the Anniversary Collection, that doesn't include Hendrix...
it's just an addition to Hendrix..

It's only 3 Amps and 1 Pedal...for $39.99 or 50 Credits...

This kind of stuff frustrates me.  

Perhaps I should just get an ipad and purchase the things IK does best...

Seems everything that iK does now is iCrap...


I neglected to mention that if you don't already own Hendrix, then the Anniversary Collection
is $99 or 125 credits...which is why you paid that...

The $39.99 price is for Hendrix owners....

From what I can tell, you should have got the upgrade for 50 credits.

 I have run into problems with the new custom shop as well. doesn't say I own Metal or Hendrix on the custom shop which I own both of those.

 I have restored my gear several times, both Amplitube and my T-racks,CSR reverb stuff. Yet I still get "restore" next to some of my plugs.

 My SVX plugin doesn't work at all. I'm not sure whats up with it. I had it working last evening and then it just stopped. I can see audio coming in but the plug simply mutes my track.

 My 64 bit plugs were installed but must have went to a folder not recognized by Sonar. I rescanned and they still are not there for some of my plugs......so I need to submit an order to IK but I'm not sure where to start.

I undertand that new things sometimes have bugs but they're eatin' me alive on this.

It took me a week to get a reply from tech support and all they told me was what I already know. I sent a reply asking why I did not get the full software product I purchased and why I did not get a serial number and why the Hendrix.dll does not show up on my system like the Fender, Metal, and Ampeg collections do. I paid full price for the collection not the special upgrade price for anniversary.

The tech support phone is temporarily disconnected and the only way to get support is through the web form but that seems to be taking much longer than normal.

IK Obi, if you're out there, could you put in a request that ticket #669246 gets some response soon? I'm sure this is just a mix up on the system but it is starting to bother me now that I've paid full price for the collection and don't have it or a serial#.
