That is cool...
But sometimes it's just quicker/easier to play the keyboard.  
Even if you're not particularly skilled...

But, although I can do it via keyboard, I'm a guitarist...and I can think of times that I'd like to take an
arrpegiated guitar part and change it to a piano part...I'm a much better (hack) guitarist then a keyboard
player..

It's easier to just enter the notes in staff view. It was only a 6 note passage so maybe a minute to write it, copy it, paste it multiple times and play it.
