Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share this bit of news with you.

I've been using Sonar for about 14 years now and have recorded various albums over the years. I've started to do a lot more video kind of "shot in the studio" type of thing.

I finished my latest video and uploaded it and also made mention of what gear was used in the making of.

The clip was noticed by MI Audio in Australia and I was invited and have become an artist liaison for MI Audio. They will give me and my music international exposure on their website and social media as well as give me products to use, test etc.

It's a very exciting development as MI Audio has played a massive role in my own personal guitar setup.

This is the video that was posted.

Cheers,

Peter.

Very cool Peter!  Great tones, an excellent song and it sounds like some decent exposure coming your way.

Never knew you were a Sonar user!  Lance is always pimping your Kemper clips over at that "other" forum (I'm "Craigbert" there).

Did you get the Tokai from Lance?

Cool.

I think I remember when you posted some of your earlier videos.

Have fun! :-)

best regards,

Thanks so much for the wishes everyone!

Yes, Craig I did get my Tokais from Lance. I was the first to get one when he brought them in.

Cheers,

Peter.

Well done, Peter! You just got a few more views, too...547 and counting. Wouldn't mind hearing more about how you made the video, e.g. did you have a pro come in or was a DIY project?

BTW, if you're in South Africa, how did you come to know Lance in Los Angeles? Or are we talking about a different Lance?

Lance Weiner.  Lives in J-Burg South Africa, sells Tokias, constantly talks about the Kemper (and Peter ), used to play lots of Gilmour-type stuff through a Line 6 POD in a future life and has a relative named Glenn (nephew?) who's on the ATP circuit for tennis.

Thanks, Criag. Yep, he's a good friend who decided to start an importing business specialising in Tokai gtrs and Kemper Profiling Amplifiers.

Bitflipper, the videos are shot by us in the studio. We installed some LED lighting as a permanent fixture so that we could offer some "mood" lighting for anyone who records with us and would like a video for promo purposes etc.

We take various camera angles etc and then piece it together afterwards. It's pretty easy to "synch up" the audio etc.

The 3D stuff (titling, graphics etc) was also made by me. The videos themselves will eventually be available on a DVD which will also include interviews etc.

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Peter.
