I got a Charbroil Infared last year. Best I've ever had.

I miss the restaurant grills ... the large slabs of metal and stuff. Those home bbq's were not quite my favorite, thought the dinner house I worked at and chef'd for a while, had an oak broiler ... don't know why people call them grills! It used oak for burning and let me tell you how good a teryiaki steak was on that thing!

I really like my Grill Dome (Kamado style cooker). I have made all sorts of slow and fast cooked meals on it. 

I've been wanting one with a searing plate for a long time!
