Freddie,

Just an opinion.

I had the shareware on my drive for a couple years and took advantage that everything there works for a half hour before going down requiring a restart.

Looking closer at these plugs after getting the free one, and there are several that are worth using.

What I did was download the original 600 MB suite and found that many of them weren't of much value.

You can go into the dll installation target and delete the files for the ones you don't need. Rescan and then you have just what is usefull to you, and there are some good ones there.

Still a generous offer for a free plugin if it is still available (minus the valid Facebook concerns) and a good offer even on the shareware with a 30 minute window.

John

You are right John and I'm wrong!
I will check them out!

Best regards
Freddie

Are we forced to download the whole bundle of 40 plugins?

Yes, you must download their entire catalog (600MB) and then install the one(s) you want. Make the best of it and demo some of their other offerings, which is the reason they make you get them all.

An approach not unlike's Nomad Factory - with which the P&M plugs seem to have a lot in common.
Which might also explain why I didn't even bother to check out their free plug-in.
I'm already stuck w/ a bunch of (useless to me) NF plugs.

There should definitely be a buy/sell sub-forum here...

I and many others consider Nomad Factory making the best plugins out there on the market. That is why Spectrsonics has included NF plugins in all their synths. I have all plugins + the analog recreation of BBE Sonic sweet  by Nomad Factory.
The best plugins to me is the Blue Tube Series EQ's and compressors. The Failight is the best Fairlight plugins I have used so far. AMT MASTERIG, NEVE and MAGNETIC sounds sweet too.  Not to talk abput Analog delay BOX. WOW!

I choose the Tremolo -AUTOPAN plugin as my FREE plugin.
I have so many Reverb, Delays EQs etc..
The Transient Designer were terrible though? The rest were okay plugins some over average and pretty good...

Thanks!
