Go with AutoTune!  Its the original..   Its world famous!!

Not sure about editor, but Melodyne Essential doesn't require iLok; just a keyfile activation.

hmmm..I didn't know melodyne needed ilok. I think I'm now more interested in autotune myself. Once again there are like 4 versions to choose from. I'll research while I save my pennies.

iLok is an option with Melodyne for those that prefer it. I wouldn't be a Melodyne user if an iLok dongle was mandatory.

Melodyne is the king.  That said, Waves Tune is actually pretty good and I've found that, in some situations, it gets more natural-sounding results than I get from Melodyne.  It goes on sale for $99 or so occasionally and I think that it's definitely worth considering at that price.
