It sounds quite similar to the stuff he's done with U2....

Only less edgy.

I haven't Steve. Been hung-up on old blues when I get a chance to "really" listen.

I never got into U2 for whatever reason(s). If I recall it seems the guitarist "droned" so
many guitar parts...I may be mistaken...I'd need to listen to them-been awhile.

So ya like his new "feel"?

Ok...now I like them even less. ;)

Only less edgy - lol..

I actually several U2 albums and singles but I'm passing on Bono's latest offering.  Some groups are just, "better as a band."

Half way through a U2 concert, a single spotlight illuminates Bono on an otherwise empty stage.

He walks slowly but deliberately to the front and asks the audience for some quiet.

Then, as the noise of the crowd quickly dissipates, he starts to slowly clap his hands.

Holding the audience in total silence, he says into the microphone... "Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies."

A voice from near the front suddenly pierces the silence... "Well den ya dozy Oirish eejut, stop feckin' clappin' den."

Hey!  Get your own joke!

This one's MINE!

(I might pick up Bono's solo album as soon as I finish the one I just ordered: "Beethoven Live At Disneyland!")
