Hey folks,
I don't remember seeing a mention here of this limiter from A.O.M. of Japan. I've been comparing it with my previous go-to master limiter (Ozone 5) on a rock mix, and I'm liking what I'm hearing. I'll give my more detailed impressions of the sound below (scroll down) in an attempt to avoid influencing others' opinions -- if anyone out there tries it, I'd like to compare notes to make sure I'm not fooling myself! :-)
Demo mode inserts silence every 30 seconds, and a year-long license is $25. Lifetime license is $99. Interesting pricing model.

My impressions: compared with Ozone 5 (in its various modes -- I tried them all), the AOM limiter seems to give kick drums greater weight and punch, while Ozone seems like it's eating the transients more. That's the main difference I hear -- AOM also appears to be giving me a more transparent, clear, and less colored sound overall at equivalent subjective loudness levels. AOM could get louder than Ozone without distorting!
AOM settings were CH Mode: LR, Shape: Linear, Oversampling: 16x, Overshoot: Clip, Limit Level: 0dB, Output Gain: -0.3dB (this is what is usually called Ceiling). I adjusted Input Gain to get around 5db GR as per the meter, which was about as loud as I could go without distorting.
