                • (Cubase 32-bit only) When performing audio processing via Audio>Plug-Ins menu or region editor window with UAD Direct Developer plug-ins, the UAD Toolbar cannot be used to load or save UAD presets. UAD presets can be loaded using the up/down arrow buttons in Cubase’s preset management tools instead. This issue does not exist in the 64-bit version of Cubase.

6.5 is D.O.A. for me. I'm going back to 6.4. And given that they don't officially support Sonar any more, I'm not hopeful that this will get fixed. Given the $1E3 that I've spent with them, it's safe to assume I'm massively pissed!

That's a bummer. I had hoped that this would fix the issues with SONAR.

Thanks for the warning Bud! Will not install (although I do crave the LA2A pack).

If I understand correctly, SONAR (and numerous other DAWs) are still supported, but not actively tested at UA.

I hope that annoying "non-UAD plugin in the chain will add latency.. blah, blah" warning will be fixed.  Cakewalk has already confirmed it is a problem on UAD's end.

I haven't downloaded 6.5 yet, but will do so over the weekend and report back.

I only upgraded to an x64 OS a few weeks ago, so my experience with 6.4 is limited, but thus far I've had no problems. When I 'm getting close to 100% utilization on my two UAD-2/Solo cards I tend to back off, perhaps I'll have to try pushing a bit harder?

As far as the rumor about Sonar support goes, I received an email from UA a while back assuring me that they do support & test Sonar, and at least for now there is no plan to change that. I've asked if I can repost that email, but haven't heard back yet.

                    Hello Bapu,

I'm using a UAD2 Quad (PCI).  The plugins are seen by Sonar, they show up in my projects, but they are not functioning at all.  ALso, they aren't showing in the UAD control panel.

After playing with 6.5 for a bit this afternoon I have gone back to 6.4. The "non-UAD plugin in the chain will add latency" error was replaced with a new error about the sample rate being 44100khz instead of the project rate and then Sonar would crash every time. Bummer.
