I've been looking for a SampleTank replacement and downloaded Camel Audio's Alchemy free player and purchased the the Biolabs Light Spaces library.  I was REALLY impressed by this library.  I liked it a more than Dimension Pro and really most of my NI stuff.  The libraries are more synth oriented but I finally think I found a replacement for a lot of those vibey Sonic Reality sounds that I can't use anymore.  Development seems to be very active and of course it's all 64bit.

Has anyone else used this stuff?

Alchemy rocks.  I haven't gotten the new Biolabs yet, but his other stuff is incredible.  More sound design, but then that is what I look for.

You'll find a lot of nice, simple sounds if you switch off the other parts (same thing w/ Dimension).  Also, I don't know if the player will play them, but there are a lot of user presets at the Camel audio site.

Probably my favorite synth.  Has a nice, thick flavor.

I bought the Biolabs Light Spaces/Dark Spaces soundsets as a combination after Christmas, and applied my Camel Points to the purchase to get an even bigger price cut. Great deal for arguably my favourite Alchemy soundsets of all.
I share your opinion on Alchemy - great synth.

I'm a very long time Camel Audio user - started with Chameleon and upgraded to Alchemy - I have most of the expansion sound sets and use Alchemy extensively - my favorite soft Synth.
Also they are a good company to deal with in my personal experience

I just discovered Alchemy a few days ago, the free one, and really like what I'm hearing.  I think it's probably worth the $249 price tag.

Comes up regular secondhand at half that price on KVR.

Great synth for the synth boys but also for the guys and gals who like pad stuff in their music.
