Just tried out the demo on a drum track--it sounds awesome! I might just have to pick this one up... :)

Massey's plugs have a solid reputation. I've heard great things about their limiter in particular, and TapeHead. Good to see them supporting other standards too.

thats good news.  but it would be better news if some of the other plugs like the vt3 and CT5 were also available. but good to know they are coming soon. i have them for Pro Tools, im hoping i can get the vst upgrade for free.

I just tried the demo (32 bit WTF?). It's more of a fuzz box than a tape emulator. On stereo tracks it totally fudges up the image, but has a fairly nice crunch on mono tracks. I'd rather be using the Softtube saturation knob!

Score: 2 out of 10

I'm still buying the UAD Ampex ATR-102...

Howdy Howdy,

Thanks for the starting this thread and for all your comments.

A few tidbits of joy for y'all.

1) The CT5 and vt3 are on deck for release.

2) Our Demos are MONO, but they never beep, insert silence, or expire.  (SvenArne, this would explain your Stereo image being whacky.  It go summed to MONO.)

We have had folks use our demos to make entire albums without paying us a penny.  We like that. :)
Eventually after making enough albums like that, folks come around.

Our plugs are less than $100 a piece so it doesn't take folks too long.

Please pop by the site for more info, to sign up for our newsletter, or to check out our forum.

Thank you.

I used the demo version a LOT in Pro Tools and I LOVED it. It was one of the only things I missed about Pro Tools so I'm chuffed to bits that there's a vst version now.

No offense there Kevin but, that has got to be the lamest demo functionality I've heard of. I was about to head on over and check it out till I heard that. It's like test driving a car that doesn't turn....
