I have a couple of wireless mice, but the battery going was just too annoying. Two reasons I like them , is that I can't stand pointless lengths of cable tangling up, I use laptops so the cable only needs to be 8 inches longs. Also I use laptops USBs so I don't like having the 2 inches of Usb and start of the cable projecting towards my mouse hand (especially with limited desk top space).
 
I have a mouse I shortened the cable on, and its a cheap one with a much smaller USB connector, this seem the best for me so far.

My Logitech K520 keyboard and M705 mouse combo are flawless.  Until the batteries get low  :)
 
I'm checking batteries every bootup now.
 
Those USB angle adapters look cool.
