Years ago I had a lot of problems with my mouse. It would just lock up at random moments. Most infuriating was that it seemed to fail every time I was on the phone with a customer. Then it hit me: I was talking on a cordless phone while using a cordless mouse! Sure enough, that's exactly what the problem was. I ditched the cordless mouse and haven't considered another one since.
Later I was tempted to go with a cordless keyboard. It's awkward reaching over to it when I'm tracking parts on my synths. But I didn't. Instead, I just got an extension cable. Sometimes lower-tech is the better solution.
But I never, ever throw towels about anymore. This may come as a surprise, but sometimes when a girl walks out of the showers at a public pool wearing a towel,
that's all she's got on. Well, yeh, it seems obvious - now.
