Years ago I had a lot of problems with my mouse. It would just lock up at random moments. Most infuriating was that it seemed to fail every time I was on the phone with a customer. Then it hit me: I was talking on a cordless phone while using a cordless mouse! Sure enough, that's exactly what the problem was. I ditched the cordless mouse and haven't considered another one since.

Later I was tempted to go with a cordless keyboard. It's awkward reaching over to it when I'm tracking parts on my synths. But I didn't. Instead, I just got an extension cable. Sometimes lower-tech is the better solution.

But I never, ever throw towels about anymore. This may come as a surprise, but sometimes when a girl walks out of the showers at a public pool wearing a towel, that's all she's got on. Well, yeh, it seems obvious - now.

The Maillard Reaction

Mr. Engelbart's greatest contribution to computing was his realization of the idea that computers can augment human intelligence much more effectively than it can serve as a substitute for human intelligence.

His research facility served to champion the idea that computers can be developed to serve as tools for individuals to do more stuff they can do with out augmentation.

His peers were advocates of A.I. research done on big systems while he choose to became an advocate of personal computing.

I Threw In The Towel...

Apparently so did Douglas Engelbart ... the guy who invented the mouse.

My Logitech MX Anywhere cordless mouse works absolutely fine, never had a problem with it. Same with the keyboard. The only problem I ever have with mice is that eventually the left button starts registering two clicks every time I press it. Now that's annoying.

Where's that public pool located?

That's strictly classified...

Just wait a few months and someone will leak it.
