I'll never keep up with the Bapu's....but, I can at least run the race

I do that either way (buy or don't buy) so I say BUY BUY BUY!!! It's SSL by Waves man. Whatchya thinkin?

I just saw where CLA couldn't believe how close to the real thing these are...

but, then again, he's a "paid" spokesperson...LOL

It will get me one step closer if I do...LOL
Now if they would do with API what they did with the "N" Series and at
least add it to Platinum...I'd be set 

CLA is my fav. Mostly because I opened them first and lo and behold they worked.

About the only tweak I make every time on my vocals is the compression. Since I print compression on my voice (typically) the added compression CLA adds is a bit too much.

I'm not a fan of Kramer's series. But that's Just me.

I need to give JJP a run for it's money one of these days.

Oh and the acoustic guitar CLA is dreamy as it can be. Same situation on the compression though.

If you had to decide (assuming only $378 to spend) probably the artist series' would be better money spent over the SSL collection, IMO. YMMV.
