I was quite nervous about downloading & installing CS, but it all worked perfectly first time with zero issues.

I'd take it up with IK's support - they are quite good at resolving queries.

I did take it up with IK support. Just call me Charlie Bucket. I've got a ticket, yipeee.. I may have found my own solution though. My guess is that I tried using both S3 Deluxe then CS to work on a project and the two aren't compatable. I ended up un-installing all my IK plugs with the exception of the synths. After re-installing, my Sonar projects open up again.

What's worse? The IK forums discourage users seeking help and advice. Why do they have a forum unless they love sunshine blown up their butts? It's all very enimatic.

PM me your ticket number and I'll make sure the support manager is aware of the issue to get it fixed. I haven't heard of many instances where the new Custom Shop didn't work. You are the first I have heard that everything IK causes your system to crash. Our forums are for our users to share ideas, tips, techniques and have good musical conversation. They are not there for support. Support exists to give you official support from the company on a 1 on 1 basis.

I had the same concerns as Bristol_Jonesey but I've also had the same end result. Zero issues on both the desktop and the laptop. (knocking on wood)

Sure hope you get things sorted soon Guitarpima. I've been going through the same kind of issues with Waves for over 3 months now and they don't seem to be nearly as Customer oriented as IK.

It probably works now though I don't plan on using it. I don't have ARC 2 yet and S3 deluxe won't process anymore since CS was installed. I'll have to use Sonar to master. Simple.

What do I think the problem is? You have to have CS for the updated singles. I don't understand that. Why aren't the updated singles in our user area?

Also, there were plenty of people asking for help on the IK forum.

I read somewhere that the old T-Tacks Deluxe and CS don't play well together. I think it was in the IK forum. I haven't tried CS yet. I usually wait to upgrade anything until the complaints slow down.

That's probably it Rocky. Thanks for the post. Judging how corporations work, it may be by design. I guess I'll have to wait for ARC 2 before I start can use it again.

Still no ticket number, we're here to help anyway that we can. Anyone asking for technical help on the IK Forums are also directed to support. Its actually in every mods signature.

I don't get the "do you have a ticket number" thing. I have a ticket number. Why do I have to go chasing IK tech down just to get support? All my plugs are working again. I fixed them. I like them. They work really well.

I deleted the project that crashed. I've been waiting to try CS again till I need it. For now, Using the plugs in Sonar is fine. The next time I have lots of time, in case I have to waste it, I'll try CS again.

Kudos for the Classic EQ being 64 bit! I like that one.

One question Obi. Are there updates to all the singles that you get with CS, like the Classic EQ, that you can't get just downloading the singles?
