{Rant}

$149 to (essentially) get 64bit operation. Not sure about this.
$79 would have been a borderline incitement to go from a piecemeal* Deluxe user to CS Grand.

Waves and UAD went 32 to 64bit for FREE.

I'm thinking I'm just about done with IK.

I bought Standard and all Deluxe modules (sans the White/Black). Now some will say that for $149 I get 64bit, White/Black and British Channel but again I say Waves and UAD gave me 64bit and I have four White/Blacks already and the UAD EMT-140 is as good as CSR for my uses.

{/Rant}

64 bit has been a free upgrade for quite awhile for the existing TRacks modules.  Only CSR was still 32 bit only.  I don't know if the CS upgrades CSR for free to the 64 bit version but it looks like it does, but IK's site is flakey right now so I can't authorize to be sure but it does show CSR as one of my owned items in the CS.

Think I'm with Bapu on this - I've got the original Tracks deluxe but I din't upgrade to v3 - now it looks I have no upgrade path at all, so shall forget this.
I'm still on Amplitube 2 which works for me so shall stay with that as well!!
I do think IK have lost the plot a little - what I shall do with my Sampletank etc is whilst it still works I shall just stay with it - I don't think I will be spending lots of money on this just to get 64 bit operation, when at the moment they still work as they are!

CSR is indeed 64 bit now. The update is a free one, but now its done through the T-Racks Custom Shop. You need to "restore your gear" like you do in the AmpliTube Custom Shop. It will automatically install the 64 bit version. You CAN use it outside of the shell as well.

Obi,

Just to clarify, will all my other T-Racks singles (besides CSR) be in T-Racks Custom Shop if I restore my gear?

Not from the horses mouth but someone said - 'As soon as you open the T-Racks CS under your account, it should already show those products as 'purchased'

OK, I'm a little happier that I got CSR 64bit for free.

And yes, I knew that I got some of the T-R-3 64bit versions free in the past.

I just don't get why I should have to "buy" the T-R-Standard plugs in 64bit format. But since I never really use them, maybe I'll just shut my mouth now.

Well- thats what happend to me - all my existing T-Racks appear in the custom shop after doing a "restore my gear" and there are now two versions available in X2. The CS version and the original

Obi,

If I have all of the Deluxe FX but bought the extra ones after purchasing TRacks Standard can I get a $99 upgrade?

I'm not sure I've ever "restored" my gear.  Or have I???
What the heck does that mean?

Any T-Racks gear models you already own from previous versions will be unlocked in the new Custom Shop. It installs the newer versions of the plug ins, but do not uninstall the previous older versions. That is why you are seeing two versions. "Restore My Gear" is a feature that syncs your account to unlock any new models you may have purchased (on another computer or an already registered product) already and just need to be authorized.
