It sounds like you have to have something other than Sonar to get the full VST 3 feature set. If they're moving in that direction it sounds like VST 3 will be a new feature in Sonar X3. Wasn't it just last year that they said VST 3 was nothing special? Sounds like the new skipper has taken the helm.

VST3 is nothing special. I also use the latest build of Nuendo. The installer will put the CA-2A into the right category of plugins (Dynamics) but there is not difference between the VST 2.4 and VST3 versions. And no, none of my VST3 plugins are resizable which was a big talking point about VST3 - not even Steinberg ones....

There were some idiots on this forum a while back stating that side chaining could not be done with VST2 compressors when in fact it has been possible ever since I have been using Sonar (version 7) and probably longer than that.
