You are not the first poker player that I have ever met or seen, and yeah ... with some exceptions most of them have moved on, though some of them are still big names and still play in tournaments and bring some money home.
 
I have, yet, to meet one of these folks that did not do well enough to stick to it ... but, in general, with those folks, there is an attitude factor that is most important ... you are not afraid to lose a hand, knowing that you will win the next!
