Huh? Didn't think that was that bad.

Hope things will be positive for you Spacey, having been at the wrong end of that axe on four previous occasions I can grok your concerns.

Probably a good job I went mad, now I spend my time looking after those dear to me that need help.

Thanks Wookiee.
It's not my first rodeo. I've missed all of their sick performances. In the past I've kept my mouth shut and stayed on the sidelines in bewilderment trying to make sense of crazy.
This time I'm not at all confused...they are nuts. Absolutely crazy.

I'm proud that I had my head together enough to walk out. At what price?...sometimes that just doesn't matter. I think there comes a time when a man will draw a line and stand behind his decision
with knowledge and values of what is right and what is wrong. My head will hit the pillow just fine tonight and I will drift off to sleep with no worries about how I conduct myself. That's what matters now...because it's all I have control over.

It's hard to soar with the eagles when you work for turkeys.

Perhaps think snakes?  Much more slithery and closer to the ground than turkeys.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines?

Weasels are too good for them...

Having been through that with the older management here and having a new management does work, sometimes. Here it just did that.

Unfortunately there are way too many narcissists around anymore....

Hi Spacey,

Thanks Mike but honestly...it isn't about me. I'm fine
and will be fine with or without their ways.

Maybe I can speak without slandering - just from a business perspective...
This is a big company with operations world-wide.
The branch that I work for is the "heart". We are the reason. We are the
source of support for all the failings of bad investments and bad decisions
that are made and are made by people that were attached to business other
than the "heart" of this one.

Numerous CEOs have made the same stupid decisions and have the appearance
to be just like very poorly made cookie-cutter homes built overnight for a quick profit.
Like the unfortunate ones that purchased those "homes" it is the employees that
make the business profit that will pay the price....all the while the ones that created the
mess will be happy about their gains.

The business design of focus on shareholder profits at all cost is a cancer killing the
working class and not unlike cancer we hope for a cure that seems to never come.

I think taking care of the workhorse has simply been replaced with -keep it alive
just well enough to keep working and when it dies replace it with one that is so hungry
it will work hard for very little.

Here is something I did a few years back.  (only thing I ever put up on youtube) I have managed to stay employed through many down sizing, bankruptcies, and re-orgs.   Was it all skill and strategy...some, but also a lot of luck.

I work at a very exciting global technology company and it could be so much better for all, but current business models suck all the fun out of it.  Living and dying with quarter by quarter revenue numbers is really quite tiring.

My advice....stay low and keep your spacing.
