My least enjoyed season.  Oh well, only three months until my favorite comes again!

The First Day of Summer (Summer Solstice) 2013

I've got a good friend who's birthday is today.  It makes it easy for both of us to remember since he's got the Summer Solstice covered and I (on some years) have the Winter Solstice.

The moon will seem 2x bigger today and we could actually then see the dark side no?

After 10 months of drizzle I appreciate the summer, but I love the fall.

LOL!  As soon as I read that I had to look to see if you were anywhere near the Seattle area.  I hear there's only three types of weather up there:  About to drizzle, drizzling, or just finished drizzling (which is actually the same as the first type!).

They still keep the weather outside, right?  I try to avoid that whenever possible.  Weather has all sorts of environmental issues that you just don't have indoors.
 
Did you know that some people have portions of their walls made out of glass and they deliberately look through that glass at the outside world?  That's weird, that is.  That just ain't right.  The only reason I can see for wanting to look out there is to remind yourself of why you live indoors in the first place.
 
In other news, I'm not allowed to do any interior decorating.

Ooo...  That's right!  It's summer so your next book should be coming out soon, ya???

I'm also writing a short story to be included in an anthology that will be offered for free.  I still blame the author.
