Am I the only one that thinks it looks very much like Z3ta with fewer oscillators? Everything else is there from the arp to the effects suite. I find this a very odd product offering, as it really doesn't offer much more than the Waves logo. I am Kompletely full up on synths.

I did!!  I said it, in post #12 of the thread...  It looks like a mashup of Z3ta and Superwaver P8...

We all know what Z3ta looks like, "here is the superwaver."  http://www.superwavesynths.co.uk/product_p8.htm

IMHO, "this synth from waves is plain silly."

Why? for around $80.00 you get a decent synth of this type.
It works & sounds fine, nobody's holding a gun to your head to buy it.
I think they're testing the waters with their first synth release.

You know something, "your right."  I should be as good at marketing my idea, my products, and my services as waves is with theirs.  I'm giving this synth my seal of approval.  Officially moving it from, "silly, ------------>" to brilliant!!

For me though, I've got to give this one a miss, as enticing as it looks. I've got too many as it is, and not enough time to learn them properly.

Yes Sir...How many synths do we really need ?

I have also decided to focus on what is already in the stable and spend more time learning about them all...

In saying that though,I did upgrade to the new LinPlug CrX4....

It's a really great sounding synth and from beat one,it really knocked me out...

I'm better now,but that synth continues to totally impress me

with regard to superwave.. the buy versions are better optimised..

but in the past they did a runner and I couldn't authorise my synth for years... so I am wary to endorse them due to that..

bought Lush and Diva.. so waves don't get a look in

what some people are like with guitars, I am like with synths :)
