I just snagged the Solo Violin Library for 49.95, a 4.3 gig download.
 
sounded pretty good, esp for classical work, I heard a shootout between it and the Gypsy violin(which  I have) and each have their own strengths..
 
at 50 off some good deals. The Play engine not as versitle as Kontakt skripting, and some users have had problems with Play and Sonar, but works for me.
