It was kind of empty, but you know, "Marlins," not exactly a killer team... I also haven't been to a live game since my teens, and it was so nice to see one in this facility. As I was saying, "Florida is really hot, and the sun is going to kill you." So you couldn't imagine the look on my face when I realized this was a fully air conditioned dome. Marlins Park is an impressive stadium to say the least..
The big diff between games during my teens, and games now: Nobody cared when the stadium was quite sparse, they always were sparse till the end of the summer, but you could sneak down to the seats by the field. Nowadays: No sneaking down to the better seats.
I remember the last Yankees game I was at, talking to Dave Winfield from the stands, my buddy and I hanging over the gate with our arms practically reaching the fowl line. We strolled down there from 3 levels up... Go ahead and try and get away with that now; "they will pull you from the park so fast." Maybe nobody noticed us eh; I guess we were a lot smaller and faster back then.

Man I haven't seen a MLB game live for a bazillion years.
As a kid we would go to either Cubs or White Sox games with little league.
Sure is different when you are sitting there vs on TV.
Looks like the radio station should have given away a few MORE tickets....
Stands a bit sparse eh?
