I'm working on a Christmas album for next year.
I need percussion samples for traditional yuletide carols. (not the typical drum set loops)

I downloaded Cinematic Percussion 1 and 2 ($20 each @ Prime Loops) and I found these very useful;
However, they are only in 4/4 time. I need 3/4, 6/8 for most of the material.
(Rex2 or Acid) 24 bit preferrable.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I use Deep Percussion Beds. I'm not sure what if any use you might have for it,specifically for holiday music,

but perhaps it might be worth consideration.

This library contains 50 Loop Suites, each loop suite is made up of 3 variations (A/B/C) and a Coda ending.

Each Variation grows organically as a piece of music would, variation B being slightly more complex, and

variation C being more so.  Within each variation you will find the groups/stems which make up the loop to be mapped to

Kontakt also.  Allowing you to choose either the full mix of each variation or the building blocks.

Time signatures include: 3/4,4/4, 5/4,6/4/7/4,6/8

Thanks for the link Kreative:

This looks perfect; I love the fact that I can keep it as simple or complicated as needed.
I've been searching the internet for a week and did not come across this site.

Would you please let me know how much of the 9 GB is devoted to 3/4 or 6/8.

Thanks for your time.

You might also try Sonokinetic's H.I.P.P. It is all orchestral toms recorded in various time sig's. Keep in mind it is toms only but some useful stuff there.

Good question.

Of the 50 loop suites, 4/4 is by far the majority time signature, with 34 construction kits, and 4 in the 3/4, and only 1 in 6/8. I also noted a few other time signatures in addition, below.
3/4 -4
4/4
5/4
6/4
7/4
9/4
11/4
5/8
6/8 -1

Yes, I have H.I.P.P., also. http://www.sonokinetic.ne.products/classical/hipp/

H.I.P.P. consists of 12 orchestral and drum toms. Ranging from 8” to 18” size toms.
The collection holds about 13.000 looped performances, comprising basic rhythms and real complex performances, all available in all tempi (ranging from 60BPM to 240BPM), 4/4 – 3/4 – 6/8 – 5/4 & 7/8 time signature. Note values are arranged in grouped performances in 4th, 8th, 8th triples, 16th, 16th triples, and some have 32th types.
