Hi Guyz...

I've been using these plugins every once in a while for many years now.... but it's been a while and other than some differences I see in the controls, I'm trying to remember what the difference is/was between these two plugins...

It seems the Lexus has been dropped and I can barely find a mention of it tho it is still available on http://home.no/gunnare/

There is virtually no info on this version of synth...

Can anyone remind me of what the differences are?

Thanks...

BTW... I just found there's a company that packages dedicated hardware controllers for the VA as well as a number of other synths... they are kits and you must build them yourself but it sure looks tempting!

From what I see on the site, it appears that the VA edition is the more faithful emulation of the MiniMoog, while the LEXUS edition offers features that the original instrument never had (e.g. pan modulation).

That was what I thought I remembered...

But looking at the VA and reading about it tells me that it has many things the mini didn't... I thought the minimogueVA was monophonic (as the original) and the Lexus poly, but it seems the VA is 5 voice!

There are a number of items different between them and I can't remember the overall difference...

I guess it I can't complain as they're both updated to 2.3 and still avaialable (along with the wonderful implementation of the arp2600(VA))...

But it does give the appearance of the Lexus being dropped....

I wonder if they'll ever get updated to x64? ;-)

Thanks for the reply bf...
